Reach for the stars
At Hillingdon Theatre Dance Centre we have taken part in many performances and are very proud of our student’s high examination results. The higher grade examinations gain our students UCAS points for university entry on any degree courses.
Our dancers regularly perform in the local community and have been lucky enough to perform in London’s West End and in professional productions.
Additionally many students have gone on to full-time vocational dance training and have then progressed into the professional performance world and become choreographers and teachers.
Hillingdon Theatre Dance Centre performed their biannual show at The Beck Theatre on the 2nd July 2018. “Wizards and Wonderland”. The show included our dancers from age 3+ and included the adult tappers from Tap For Fun.
Our annual choreographic competition took place in July 2018. This was a fantastic opportunity for our dancers to showcase their own work and develop creativity and team work. Well done to all who took part.
3 of our dancers joined our teacher Lauren Stroud in the Beck Theatre professional production of “Peter Pan” during December 2018
H.T.D.C have previously been involved with 16 professional pantomime seasons and has provided dancers for visiting professional dance companies at The Beck Theatre.
HTDC performers groups were in a show at the spectacular Sadler’s Wells Theatre in London in 2018, having previously perfumed there in 2013 and having hit the West End in July 2015 in a show at Her Majesty’s Theatre. Very exciting opportunities for all involved. We had fabulous feedback from the company about how well behaved our students were and how beautifully they danced- Well Done Performers!
The performers group have recently performed in “A Taste Of Peach” at the Beck Theatre and “Our House” with The Argosy Players, the United For Hillingdon show at the Beck Theatre, “The Glen Miller Story” with the Astor Big Band, “A Life In Dance” and “The Magic of Hollywood” both with Strictly Come Dancing’s Pasha, Sounds Of The Decades” at The Winston Churchill Theatre, as well as many local events.
