Helen White

Principal. LISTD, LIDTA, FDI, CDE, LAMDA (GVP), AIFL.

Helen has been the principal of HTDC for 10 years and has 20 years of experience in professional teaching.

She trained at The Italia Conti Academy of Theatre Arts in London. Her professional teacher training then took place under the expert guidance of Elizabeth Harrison and Linda Sweetzer.

Helen graduated from a three-year teacher training diploma course and has gained Imperial Society of Teachers of Dance (ISTD) associate teaching qualifications in Classical Ballet, National, Modern and Tap, and London Academy of Musical and Dramatic Art (LAMDA) qualifications. She then gained the ISTD Certificate in Dance Education in all four subjects. Helen has also achieved ISTD higher level professional Licentiate status in Tap and Modern.

Helen is an ISTD-approved tutor, training dance teachers for all aspects of the ISTD Diploma in Dance Instruction and Diploma in Dance Education teaching qualifications at a teacher training college in Maidenhead Berkshire where she is the Head of Academic Studies.

Performance credits include dancing and singing in shows at; The London Palladium; Her Majestys Theatre; The Palace Theatre; Avondale Theatre and The Fantasyland Theatre in Disneyland (Paris) as well as acting on national television and performing commercially.

Aydin Ord

Senior and Vocational Ballet.DIP. RBSTCPD.

Aydin trained at the the State Conservatory in Ankara, Tanz Academy in Berlin and on the teacher training course for professional dancers at the Royal Ballet School in London.

Aydin has worked with choreographers and teachers including: Rudolph Nureyev, Todd Bolender, Peter Van Dyke and Valerie Adams. She has performed professionally in many classical ballets and productions with the Ankara and Istanbul State Ballet companies including: Sleeping Beauty, Swan Lake, Giselle, Don Quixote, Carmen, Faust, My Fair Lady and Fiddler on the Roof. 

Aydin is a teaching member of the Royal Academy of Dance, and has been teaching, choreographing and entering students for all levels of RAD exams since 1991.​

Joanne Jones

Junior and Intermediate Ballet. RAD RTS.

Joanne started dancing at age 7 at the Patricia Stevens School of Dance. Throughout her childhood she trained here and also at the Royal Academy of Dance, taking examinations, dancing in many competitions, local performances and performing at the Sadlers Wells Theatre with Young Stars of Tomorrow.

She graduated from the Urdang Academy with her teaching diploma, ISTD modern and tap elementary level, Cecchetti ballet, GCSE history of Ballet and the Royal Academy of Dance Teaching Certificate.

Joanne has been teaching ballet, choreographing and entering students for all levels of RAD exams since 1988, co-running two dance schools along the way.

Natalie Redman

Junior Ballet, Tap and Modern. DDI

Natalie began dancing at age 5 at the Georgian School of Dancing and then moved through to HTDC where she trained until she was 19. She then continued her training at the Margaret Howard Theatre College, working in all aspects of dance, musical theatre and performance. Natalie also achieved Advanced 2 level Tap and Modern, as well as her ISTD Diploma in Dance Instruction for Tap and Modern.

Natalie has had various performance experiences including dancing on board MSC Cruise liners, performing at Sadlers Wells, at Malta’s National Theatre and the Watford Palace Theatre.

Rebecca

Rebecca is an accredited street dance teacher via Urban Strides, professional commercial dancer, training taken intensively in Los Angeles, New York, Japan and London- Debbie Reynolds, Millenium dance complex, Broadway dance centre, Northern star acting on screen course.

She has been teaching street dance for over 19 years on and off,  and started teaching an adult dance class when she was 16 at Virgin active which was great for experience at such a young age, since then she have been teaching commercial dance to both children and adults, beginners to advanced. Rebecca  loves teaching and seeing students in my class improve week by week or just come to have fun and let their hair down is one of the most rewarding feelings in the entire world. In 2017 she was fortunate enough to teach at Bestival which and currently has been teaching at residential home.

Rebecca is also a qualified Yoga teacher.

Performance credits include Big brothers big mouth commercial, Strictly come dancing, The wanted, Urban street dance DVD, The Hoosiers music video Make or break, Comic Relief, Mission Impossible.

Daniela

Daniela is an experienced teacher with a strong academic background in Ballet and contemporary Dance.

She has recenttly been teaching for Demi Moore school of dancing and is a guest teacher with Nina Monteiro Ballet school.She

 started dancing at age 4 and at the age of 8 she began professional training and then later graduated from Jaguse Vrankova Accademy in Sassari, Italy.She has perfromned professionally with Balletto di Venezia, Balletto di Milano, New English National Ballet as a part of corps de ballet and as a soloist. 

Daniela was previously the Head Teacher at Sheen Lane Academy and teaches for The London Boys Ballet. 

 During her teaching experience, she have been inspired by my students passion and their determination to achieve new goals. Her aim is to create a safe and inclusive space where they can express their artistry become the best dancer they can be. 

In her classes Daniela loves to create a safe environment where dancers are free to express their feelings and explore their ideas. She is also really creative and full of imagination and loves to guide our students thought their training.

Miss Charlotte

Musical Theatre BA (Hons)

Miss Charlotte has been passionate about the world of performing arts from a young age, beginning her dance training at just three years old and later developing a love for theatre and singing at the age of twelve. She holds a degree in Performing Arts and has over 11 years of experience as a musical theatre teacher.

Miss Charlotte is skilled in teaching a wide range of disciplines, including ballet, tap, modern, street, contemporary, and of course musical theatre. In addition to her teaching career, she successfully runs two businesses: her own musical theatre school and a children’s party company.

Outside of her professional work, Charlotte enjoys aerial hoop, climbing, travelling, and caring for her two pet rabbits.
